As the World Turns - MESSAGE BOARDS

Procter & Gamble once had 10 soaps on the air. Now it has two left, "As the World Turns" and "Guiding Light," and they’re determined to kill them off, too.

On Tuesday, it announced the shows would be filmed like the reality program "The Hills" starting in January. P&G already has hobbled the shows with cut budgets and no sets. Now it will opt for handheld cameras and exteriors shot off sets to save money. It’s a recipe for disaster and I suspect they know it.

No doubt about being cheap , they show the kitchen scene and one store front more all the time.
I don't see how Katie can buy a house , they can't afford a new house set.
I noticed today that the bed that Meg and Creig were lying on was just like the bed that Katie was lying on while she was watching TV.
That cheap hand held camera shooting looks like some of my home made video's that everyone makes fun of.

This person who is filming isn't much better than me either. I can't film for anything. Everyone always laughs when I film because it makes you nauseous. You would think they would want better for a 50 year old show.

If they are going to do more location filming, that might be a good thing. If it is filmed like other tv shows and as they said "the hills" then it may turn out better..just have to wait until january and see..
