  • All My Children alum Jennifer Bassey's General Hospital debut date image

    Back on May 11, Soaps.com learned that Jennifer Bassey, who played “All My Children’s” Marian Chandler from 1983 to 2011, would be appearing on “General Hospital.” Look for the actress to make her first Port Charles appearance as publisher Quinn Danvers on Tuesday June 20 in scenes with Nathan and Amy in the Man Landers storyline.

  • Bradford Anderson returns to General Hospital image

    As Soaps.com reported on May 20, though “Days” actor Blake Berris filled in as Spinelli on General Hospital back in January, Bradford Anderson will be briefly returning to the soap for a few episodes. Look for him to reprise the role on Wednesday June 14.

  • Kirsten Storms out shopping for General Hospital return image

    Kirsten Storms revealed on social media that she will be back at "General Hospital" very soon as Maxie Jones. She posted that she not only had been clothes shopping with the costume designer, but shared a fun photo of her stalking her pal Emme Rylan's (Lulu Falconeri) photo at the studio - as well as one of her back in her dressing room.

    Soaps.com reported back in March that Kirsten Storms would be taking time off due to personal reasons. She recently revealed on Instagram that she has been battling depression. Storms responded to a fan, "I try to keep my personal issues private, however I recently mentioned on Twitter that I suffer from severe depression. If you or someone you know has dealt with it, then you know it can be a difficult time in life. I’m doing much better as of late and look forward to returning to work soon." Storms' character Maxie has been working in Portland and spending time with her daughter. It was recently announced that Bradford Anderson was returning to General Hospital. He plays Spinelli, the father of Maxie's child.

  • Nicolas Bechtel returns to General Hospital as Spencer image

    Back in March Nicolas Bechtel excited fans when he and his on-screen grandmother Genie Francis exchanged tweets suggesting he might be back on "General Hospital" soon as Spencer Cassadine. Soap Digest has learned that the actor will be making another return as Spencer next week.

    Bechtel most recently appeared as Spencer last summer when his Uncle Valentin attempted to kidnap him. Shortly after, Laura made the decision to enroll him in boarding school overseas for his safety. With spring break coming, could Spencer be coming home? Soaps.com will keep you updated.

    Vernee Watson is joining "General Hospital" the week of June 5 according to Soap Opera Digest in a yet to be revealed role. Soaps.com readers will likely recognize Watson for playing Althea on "The Big Bang Theory" and as the actress who took over the part of Will Smith's Aunt Vy on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." She's also appeared on "The Young and the Restless" in 1999 as Birdie and as Dr. Kraft on "Days of our Lives" in 2007.

    John J. York returns as Mac Scorpio according to Soap Opera Digest. Soaps.com reported that John J York was last on General Hospital for Maxie's wedding to Nathan back in January. Mac resurfaces the week of June 5 to spend time with his former sister-in-law Anna Devane.

  • Constance Towers' latest return to General Hospital ends image

    Constance Towers' brief return to "General Hospital" has ended for now. Soaps.com previously reported that Constance Towers returned as Helena Cassadine for May Sweeps. Helena was brought back in flashbacks and as a ghost in Jake's head. Her last appearance was on May 30 when Helena vanished after Jake disarmed the Chimera.

    Soaps.com's exclusive: ABC's "General Hospital" has cast several actors for small upcoming parts for June. These parts are often for a single episode, but some may be recurring. The listed air dates may be off due to past preempts of the show, or because scenes were cut.

    Michelle Haro will play a drummer on June 8 and 9.

    Eddie Davenport returns as Helena's henchman Costa on June 13, 14 and 15 and will end his run on June 16.

    Amelia Meyers returns as Amelia the waitress on June 9, 14 and 15.

    Malcolm Matthews will play a security guard on June 14 and 15.

  • George Pennacchio returns for General Hospital’s Nurses' Ball image

    George Pennacchio, who is an entertainment reporter for KABC in Los Angeles, returns to the Nurses' Ball red carpet for a fifth time beginning May 22. Soaps.com previously reported that Mario and Gia Lopez will also be at this year's ball. Both Lopez and Pennacchio will share hosting duties on the carpet with Nina Clay-Cassadine (Michelle Stafford).
